Great student experiences start with great student records.

At Newbury College, we know that behind every successful learner is a team of dedicated professionals working behind the scenes to keep things running smoothly. We're looking for a Student Records Officer to join our friendly MIS team and help ensure that our student data is accurate, compliant and ready when it's needed.

This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working with information, has a keen eye for detail and takes pride in getting things right. You'll play an important part in supporting students and staff by maintaining accurate records, resolving data issues and helping the College meet its funding and reporting requirements.

About the role

No two days are exactly the same. One day you could be processing enrolments and checking documentation, the next you might be investigating data discrepancies, supporting funding audits or working with colleagues across the College to ensure records are complete and accurate.

You'll become a key member of the MIS team, building strong relationships with curriculum areas and helping ensure the College's student information is maintained to the highest standard.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Enjoys working with data and detailed information.
  • Has a methodical approach and excellent attention to detail.
  • Is confident using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Can identify issues and find practical solutions.
  • Has strong organisational skills and can manage competing deadlines.
  • Works well independently whilst also being a supportive team member.
  • Is approachable, professional and committed to delivering excellent service.

Whether you've worked in education before or developed your data and administrative skills in another sector, we'd love to hear from you.
