Safeguarding Administrator
Hours: 25 hours per week / 52 weeks per year
Salary: Salary: 16,068 Actual / £23,780 actual

We are excited to offer this new opportunity as a Safeguarding Administrator where you will play a key role in providing essential administrative support to ensure safeguarding processes are well-documented, efficiently coordinated, and handled with the utmost confidentiality.
In this role you will:
• Support the Safeguarding Officer in implementing the safeguarding quality improvement actions as outlined in the Quality Improvement Plan (QIP)
• To support the Safeguarding Manager in the management of the administration.
• Provide high-quality administrative support to the safeguarding team.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date safeguarding records and documentation.
• Manage confidential information in line with data protection and safeguarding policies.
• Assist with the preparation of reports, audits, and compliance documentation.
• Ensure all administrative tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard to support the smooth running of safeguarding procedures.
What you will bring:
• Experience of working within the Education Sector and knowledge of Safeguarding/child protection
• The ability to respond well to a changing environment
• The ability to use initiative to deal with telephone calls and staff queries in a professional manner
• A calm and professional approach, with the ability to handle potentially distressing or sensitive information appropriately.
• The relevant skills needed in administration, such as good literacy, numeracy and IT skills
