Newbury College is seeking to appoint a dedicated and experienced Operations Manager to lead the effective delivery of our operational services within the college and its offsite facilities.
This is a key leadership role, responsible for ensuring the college’s facilities are safe, compliant, and conducive to a high-quality learning environment.
What You’ll Do:
Lead the effective management of the college’s operational services, including facilities and health and safety.
Act as the key liaison with our on-site facilities partner, Mitie FM Services.
Oversee facilities management, ensuring a high-quality, compliant, and efficient learning environment.
Provide expert advice and leadership on the implementation of health and safety practices and policies.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support the college’s strategic goals through operational excellence
We’re looking for someone who is:
Experienced in facilities and health & safety management, ideally within an educational or public sector setting.
Strong understanding of financial planning, with experience in managing budgets and ensuring effective budgetary control.
A confident communicator and problem-solver, able to lead teams and influence at all levels.
NEBOSH and IOSH qualified (or equivalent) and familiar with current health & safety legislation and best practices.
