Industry Placement Coordinator

Hours: 37 hours per week / 52 weeks per year

Salary: £26,525 Actual

We are excited to offer this opportunity for a passionate, organised, and proactive Industry Placement Coordinator to join our team.

In this role you will:

• Build strong relationships with employers to create high-quality industry placements and work experience opportunities.

• Work closely with academic staff to identify placement opportunities that align with the curriculum and meet student needs.

• Liaise with employers to carry out due diligence, risk assessments, and ensure they understand their responsibilities for safeguarding, supervision, and training.

• Monitor and review student progress during placements through workplace visits, observations, and feedback sessions.

• Promote progression opportunities such as apprenticeships, further study, or employment.

What you will bring to the role:

• Experience in a customer-facing role, with the ability to build positive relationships.

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage with a wide range of individuals involved in work placements.

• A strong understanding of and commitment to equal opportunities.

• Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail.
