High Needs Officer

37 Hours Per Week / 52 Weeks per Year

£22,991 Actual

We are currently recruiting a High Needs Officer to work in our support department. The successful candidate will play an active role in the consultation process for high needs mainstream students and arrange and chair annual reviews for these students. It will be also required that you build and maintain excellent working relationships with SEN schools in the local community.

The Successful candidate will have

• Strong understanding of and commitment to Safeguarding and Equality and Diversity

• Evidence of commitment to ongoing professional updating and development

• Excellent IT and communication skills both written and verbal

It would be beneficial to have

• level 3 or equivalent professional qualification or holding significant relevant industry experience

• Knowledge SEN Placement for EHCP students' consultation process

• Understanding of the current OFSTED Education inspection framework and the process for OFSTED inspections for FE and skills
