You will lead a dedicated team of educators, inspiring them to deliver high-quality teaching and helping our diverse student population achieve their full potential.
Your Key Responsibilities
You will play a pivotal role in driving our college's improvement, with key responsibilities including:
• Strategic Leadership: Work closely with the Head of Faculty to develop and implement a clear, ambitious vision for English, Maths, and ESOL provision.
• Curriculum Development: Lead and manage curriculum planning, ensuring an innovative and inclusive curriculum is in place for all learners, including those on study programmes and adult education routes.
• Quality & Innovation: Lead the delivery of outstanding teaching, learning, and assessment. Drive innovative approaches to support learners who have not yet achieved a Grade 4 in English and Maths, ensuring high levels of achievement and progression.
• Team Leadership: Lead and support your team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
• Programme Management: Oversee the delivery of Functional Skills, GCSEs, and our ESOL programmes for adult learners, ensuring compliance with all funding and quality requirements.
