Construction Technician

Hours: 37 Hours per Week / 38 Weeks Per Year

Salary: £19,856 Actual / £23,780 FTE

As a Construction Technician, you will play a vital role in supporting teaching and learning across our construction curriculum. From preparing materials and maintaining equipment to ensuring health and safety compliance, your expertise will help create an inspiring and secure environment for students pursuing careers in carpentry, plumbing, and electrical trades.

In this role you will:

• Maintain and prepare workshop equipment and materials for practical lessons

• Order and manage resources including timber, metals, plumbing and electrical components

• Operate wood machining equipment following appropriate training

• Act as the Health and Safety representative for the construction area

• Ensure all risk assessments and safety documentation are up to date
