Newbury College is seeking a dynamic and engaging GCSE Maths and English Lecturer to join our dedicated team supporting our thriving Football Academy’s. This is a unique opportunity to make a real impact on learners who are pursuing both academic and athletic excellence.
In this role you’ll be delivering GCSE Maths and English to our Football Academy students across multiple offsite provisions within a 70-mile radius of Newbury College. These learners are driven, energetic, and hands-on—so we’re looking for someone who can match their enthusiasm and bring lessons to life.
What We’re Looking For:
• A qualified and experienced lecturer in GCSE Maths and/or English
• Proven ability to engage and motivate learners, especially those with a practical or sports-focused mindset
• Willingness to travel to offsite locations (mileage reimbursed)
• A flexible, student-centred approach to teaching
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills
Travel Requirements
This role involves regular travel to our partner sites across the region (Basingstoke, Reading, Milton Keynes and Newbury). You’ll be delivering high-quality education wherever our Football Academy students are based.
