Electrical Installation Lecturer
Hours: 37 hours per week / 52 weeks per year
Salary: £29,000 per annum + Market Premium: £5,945 (total starting package: £34,945). Once you successfully complete your Level 5 Teaching Qualification, the market premium will be removed and replaced with an enhanced salary of £37,533.
Qualified Applicants (already hold a Level 5 Teaching Qualification): Start directly on the full salary of £37,533 per annum.

Newbury College is seeking a knowledgeable and motivated individual to join our Electrical Installation team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with industry experience who’s ready to take the next step into teaching.
You don’t need to be a qualified lecturer—we’re looking for someone who understands the trade, holds a Level 3 qualification in Electrical Installation (or equivalent), and is keen to develop their teaching skills. We’ll support you through your teacher training while you gain hands-on experience in the classroom.
In this role you will:
• Delivering engaging lessons in electrical installation to 16–19-year-olds and adult learners
• Supporting students in developing practical skills and industry knowledge
• Assess and/or verify student work both on-site and at work placements, as required.
• Working alongside experienced educators while completing your teacher training qualification
• Helping shape the future workforce in a high-demand sector
